Changes on Ver. 2.0
RD-175 driver software ver. 2.0 is an updated version to fix the problems in previous version running on Windows 2000 and Power Macintosh G3. Moreover, utility software RD-175 Grabber is added and the operation screen is changed for both Windows and Macintosh version.
Please refer to RD-175 software instruction manual ver. 2.0 (DC_2753_E.pdf) regarding the system requirements and recommended SCSI boards for RD-175 driver software ver. 2.0 in "Manual" folder after you download the file and extract it.
from Win (Ver.1.6):
* Supports Windows 2000.
* Supports Adobe Photoshop 6.0.
->Those by whom it is used by Photoshop 6.0 need to read "readme_E.txt".
* Supports Adaptec ULTRA160 series SCSI.
* Utility software RD-175Grabber was added.
* Exposure compensation function in "RD-175 Control Panel" is eliminated.
-> Please use camera exposure compensation when you shoot
* Tag information (Shutter Speed, F.No.) in "Minolta RD-175 Digital Still Camera" panel is eliminated.
-> These tag information are stored as EXIF tag information when you select "JPEG-TIFF" file type for downloading the images on a PC card in the camera. In order to see EXIF tag information, please use EXIF tag viewer software.

Additional information for installing RD-175 driver software ver. 2.0
RD-175 driver software ver. 2.0 acting as an independent new driver software. When you install ver. 2.0 according to the install wizard instructions, new program folder is created, and do NOT overwrite the previous version of RD-175 driver software. If you do not need older version of the driver software, please uninstall it BEFORE you install ver. 2.0.
Please read the following important information about installation before downloading the software:
Preparation before Installation
1. Delete the existing old-version driver as follows: Select "Remove RD-175" in the "RD-175" in "Program" of the "Start" menu. The old driver is deleted.
2. Create a new work directory (folder) with any name you like on the hard disk. Copy the downloaded "Rd-17520e.exe" to the new directory. Double click the file to decompress. When the file is decompressed, you will see "RD175SETUP.exe" file, "RD175WDM.inf"file, RD175WDM.sys"file, "Manual" folder.
How to Install
Double click "Setup.exe" to start installation. Follow the instruction on the monitor to continue installation. Before using the installed driver, read "readme_E.txt" and "DC_2757_E.pdf" file which includes important information for the driver.
